Not many didn’t think the radiant Nancy Smart, my high school BFF, could ever accessorize with wigs. Her iconic hair styles added so much to her femininity. But surprise surprise. Miss Prim n’ Proper will always be recognized for her hair. Only a handful of souls can tell she lives confidently wearing synthetic wigs. You’d be surprised!

When we were blossoming ladies in Arizona, we once knocked ‘em dead. In our twenties her alopecia kicked in and she went bald. I mentioned some lace wigs. Even so she just shaved her head. Even on bad days she somewhat obnoxiously demonstrated her bald-headed look.

At our university’s roller hockey tournament, we flirted with the crowd till her beau clumsily hit the puck (or whichever thing that is) at the crowd. She reached out for the thing and her hat flew right off, uncovering her naked head. Totally upreturbed, she walked over and delivered it back to the field. Attitude, did I mention she’s got it?

But, who can be invincible at all times? Not too long after at our semi-monhtly cookie baking marathon, when she looked me in the eye and confided that she opts to make do with a shorn head out of bitterness. She missed her natural hair too much to look at medical wigs, even if she would wear them. At that disclosure, the punk turned flush red and begged that I should think nothing more of it. So I did.

I thought about it all night. Later on, I talked about taking care of this wig problem. After a long deliberation the two of us ended up with an agreement: we were going wig shopping! I used my credit card, and it was worth it.

We had a great time, amazed by how natural they looked. I didn’t realize that synthetic wigs were so natural for a lot of people. These wigs for women’s hair loss made her so lovely. As for me, built an entirely modern set of outfits to wear with our wigs. We stand together, you know. For my birthday she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for her dignified synthetic wig, and said it brought about a real positive image in her life. It’s touching to watch my best friend float about as light as a feather. And she’s still got the attitude.

My sisters say I’m a romantic, only ‘caus that’s a my natural job. I highly endorse having Great Expectations. No way around it, matchmaking just follows me around without notice. Good singles networks, like
Milwaukee Great Expectations the hands-down greatest in matchmaking, understand their members and their dating preferences. Great dating services coordinate handmade social encounters like a mutual friend, and that’s dating done right. Matchmaking is a small niche of dating services, delivering big promise by changing companionship for years to come.

day in day out I have casually shared companionship advice on the web and without regret. What you’re reading is not old hat. You know all that. Listen to what your date has to say, be diplomatic, don’t be nervous, be candid and (this is key) don’t start contrasting dates on a shopping list. Just feel it out at your own pace! Encourage magical moments if it feels right. Here’s a big no-no: do not exacerbate things hoping to pretend you are anything other than what you are. What if the acquaintance develops into something deep, then you have no choice but to come to terms. Of course there are perks to joining Great Expectations Milwaukee. It’s no secret that matchmaking is naturally what I have practiced since grade-school. Victories singles who have come to me developed that reputation. My coupled-up friends are everywhere.

There’s Carla and George and their gaggle of little ones. Take a stab at who matched them to eachother at Spanky’s Hamubrgers five years ago, and the result can’t be denied. Daniel and Caroline also fell for eachother at first sight after I introduced them at a barbecue a few summers back. And of course my step-sister Ashley and her perfect match, Teddy. They get hitched in Paris next November. I love them both and they found eachother through Great Expectations, at my behest.

So I have kept right on with these arrows, and extraordinarily productive too! But all this time, while I’ve been graciously helping the single people of the world (hah) realize the attitude needed to build a life together with someone, I neglected my personal dating happiness. Is this what anxieties present when the dating expert requests a dating service? I’d want to meet exclusive Greatest Expectations Milwaukee singles, because knowing you’re good at something one can be picky. Perhaps similar thinking has kept me from really getting serious about dating. If anyone does, I should know that you can’t exist in life’s journey lacking a partner. And here we are, I’m setting out on a dating adventure by quality singles.

Nobody predicted the recession, but it’s here, and and the economy has slowly been grinding to a halt. You may even be recently unemployed. You can turn off the radio, but you can’t escape the actuality that Europe is in a recession and it will be with us for some time.

What can we do?What can be done? The conventional means of hunting for a job are not so good when you have 120 other people applying for the very same job. Reading the newspaper, browsing the local unemployment bureau, etc – best of luck with all of that.

You should look for a job placement in ways your rivals are few and far between. Nowadays a lot of companies advertise job vacancies on their website, so use a search engine and type in keywords to target local companies. Use a variety of keywords between locale only e.g. jobs in Tamworth, and job type and location e.g. help desk jobs Tamworth Staffordshire.

Another alternative is to work for yourself – become self-employed. One thing we’ve found out over the last 12 months is that big companies can go bust very quickly. Self-employment means you control your own destiny, which is something no employee of a firm can ever say they have. An important point is that you choose the kind of job you love as you must motivate yourself everyday.

Now, I couldn’t characterize myself as downright comfortable as an “independent” (aka: naturally single) person and remain an honest woman. However, I’m not uncomfortable in that way, either. I merely bring it up here as an appetizing detail setting up the story I am prepared to unravel!

A week ago today I met for coffee with Sandy, considering signing up for Dallas Personals site. Now, I sit to the blogosphere as a surprisingly pleased member of the dating service. For real, it’s true. Its very comfortable and full of nice people! If you’ve been paying attention, you may be wondering, “You got some ’splainin to do, Lucy!”

So, I saw these Great Expectations Reviews and can really get behind their approach. They’re for the honest singles who care enough to know dating isn’t a game.

Because I’d never been too big on the ridiculous nightlife ritual most people call “The Dating Game.” I got it more than you know. Day and night people nagg, “Are you two serious yet?” and “Please tell me you two are dating.”

“Ugh, and double ugh.” I banter right back, without missing a beat. “There’s nothing to date!”

“You’re as ridiculous as you are hilarious,” they reply. “That’s just an excuse for your cynicism.”

Leave it to my friend (she’s the best) Sandy Wilson. She pours the best ideas directly to my core to put me back on course. Loved ones you can trust . No countering that, so I signed up.

Returning to the message of this essay. As I picked from more than three hundred combinations of outfits for my first date with Great Expectations, something occurred to me that was quite true. For years, I hadn’t had too many actual great expectations for dating in the adventurous journey of this world. Being single isn’t so bad, especially when you get out there and have fun. Having great expectations works terrifically on a cynics social life.

During my never ending quest for knowledge on business, investment, motivation, personal development and other topics that interest me I have attended countless seminars. Some were excellent and some were – well, let’s just say… interesting.

Something always strikes me at these seminars. Oh, I’m not talking about something falling on my head. Rather, what falls into my head.

You see, I am a keen observer. I notice things. I make it a habit. I always have. Now I just have an eye for detail. I guess you could say I am a curious type.

So, having explained all that – what do I see at seminars?

First, I see that most of the people who attend them are already successful at something. That’s obvious. I won’t go into that. Let’s just say that successful people are always on the hunt for more knowledge.

Next, I see certain folk who sit close to the front and certain folk who sit right down the back, where it is easy to “escape” and not be noticed. The key to that last sentence is the last three words – not be noticed.

Those who sit right at the front almost always appear more confident. They also come prepared with notebooks, calculators, journals and pens.

I also observe that during intermission (there usually is one), these people make a bee-line for the presenter and completely monopolize his or her time. They ask questions. When they do this what do you think the crowd down the back do? Well, some have had enough and go home, others slip into a nearby bar for a drink and many race outside to get a quick-fix of nicotine.

After the seminar is over, those in the front rows are always the ones to purchase books, tapes, videos and other materials. And again they descend upon the presenter for what I call the “good oil.”

By contrast, those at the back of the room, while deserving congratulations for attending in the first place, are usually already gone. They rarely take notes, they tend to conduct private low-level conversations between themselves (I detest that!), never approach the presenter and rarely purchase any further information.

Sometimes I sit at the back of a seminar to observe these things. I want to see who is there for the information and who is there for the social aspects. So I watch. However, my preferred position is somewhere down the front – not necessarily in the very front row but somewhere near it where I have clear and unimpeded access to the presenter if I need it.

To finish up, let me ask you a couple of questions:

Do you avail yourself of seminars and courses?

Are you a front-seater or a back-seater?

Might it be to your advantage in future to take a front seat? There are already plenty of back-seaters. They’re everywhere – and not just at information seminars.
